I’m
Tammy, when I was a kid, I have learned English. I’ve read stories, heard
songs, even English radio broadcasts. Until finally, my parents enrolled me to
English course near my house. And the journey begins…
After
several months study in there, I started to get trouble. I have to memorize new
vocabularies, quiz, and oral test I have to do over and over again until I get
grade A. My difficulty until now is understand grammar. I don’t know why I am
so slow to understand this part, whereas grammar is the most important part in
learning English. But I still learn until I understand and don’t think that
learning grammar is difficult.
Sometimes
I still like to think that learning English is hard. But I have to change my
mindset that learning English is easy. Want to know the solution to feel
confident when we learn English? The answer is often practice what have been
learned.
How
do I study it? Pratice in public, if there are foreigner, invite to speak
English together, it also can be the way to learn English. The way I usually do
is to listen to the song and then write it any vocabulary that I haven’t know,
then try is understand the lyrics in the song and trying to interpret the
meaning of the song.
